A LITTLE ABOUT WHY WE EXIST
Klondike and Smokey City are two of the oldest African-American Communities in North Memphis.
In 2009, a new Klondike Smokey City Resource Center was built. It is located at 943 Vollintine Avenue. The hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
Mission: To improve the economic health of the North Memphis Communities through community, workforce and family development initiatives.
Vision: To be a neighborhood where residents, businesses, and visitors thrive economically and have a vibrant quality of life.
